Project H.E.A.R.T. Student Workbook

Project H.E.A.R.T. (Holocaust Education Advances Respect and Tolerance) is a comprehensive educational curriculum designed to teach students about the Holocaust while fostering values of mutual respect, tolerance, and social responsibility. Through survivor testimonies, documentary films, interactive workbooks, and detailed teacher's guides, Project H.E.A.R.T. provides educators with the tools they need to effectively teach this challenging subject matter in an age-appropriate way.

What Are the Goals of Project H.E.A.R.T.?

  • To provide students with preliminary information about the Holocaust and its relevance to their lives today.
  • To enhance students' existing comprehension, writing, and critical thinking skills.
  • To develop students' understanding of how important it is to counter discrimination and prejudice and to inspire them with the power inherent in the human spirit.
  • To imbue students with a sense of social responsibility. They can make a difference. It's their obligation to do everything they can to make the world a better place.
  • To offer students the opportunity to meet and connect with a survivor who has experienced and risen above the challenges of the Holocaust in an inspiring fashion.
